Our Z300 optical fibre cable has reached another milestone in fire safety performance.  A the end of 2025, we carried out additional acidity testing to further verify the cable’s performance in fire conditions.

The updated Declaration of Performance (DoP) now confirms the full CPR classification Dca s2 d1 a1.What does this mean in practice?

• The a1 classification confirms very low smoke acidity in the event of a fire, helping to reduce the corrosive effects of combustion gases.
• Improved protection for people by limiting exposure to acidic and corrosive combustion products.
• Reduced risk of corrosion damage to sensitive equipment, technologies and critical infrastructure.
